During this tour, you will visit Peru’s Wonder of the World, Machu Picchu by train on a full-day trip from Cusco. Forget about the hassle of having to book taxis, trains and buses to Machu Picchu and just relax, enjoy your day and leave all the planning to us. We will collect you from your hotel and drive you to the train station (Poroy or Ollantaytambo) where you will catch a train with wonderful views of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba river. You will then arrive to Machu Picchu Pueblo, where you will catch the bus directly to the entrance of Machu Picchu itself. Your entry is included. You will then have a guided tour and time to take photos and explore. The full return trip is included back to your hotel.

Machu Picchu is known world-wide and as a result it can get busy during certain times of the year. As a result, it is particularly advisable to book your tour in advance.

ITINERARY

Hotel pick-up (the time we pick you up will depend on your train schedule)

From your hotel, we will drive you to Poroy’s train station or Ollantaytambo’s station.

You will then take the train from the station to Aguas Calientes (or Machu Picchu Pueblo).

Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, a member of staff will pick you up from the station and take you to the bus station.

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu bus (30 minute ride)

Upon arrival at the world famous Machu Picchu, you will have a professional guided tour. You will have free time to explore the ‘Wonder of the World’ at your own pace and take all the pictures you can! In the afternoon, you will have time to explore the town of Aguas Calientes and get some lunch before then heading back to the city of Cusco.

Train from Aguas Calientes to Poroy/ollantaytambo train station

Upon arrival at the train station, a member of staff will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Cusco.
